Cookie Policy

The small files this site stores in your browser, what each one is for, and how to switch them off.

Last updated: August 6, 2026

Cookies are small text files stored in your browser when you visit a website. They let a site remember things between page loads, and let services measure how a site is being used.

Cookies used on this site

Dwell Hue uses cookies and similar technologies in three areas. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell the data they generate.

EssentialKeeps the site working — security, load balancing, remembering a submitted comment or a logged-in sessionDwell HueSession to 12 months

Third-party cookies are set and controlled by those services under their own policies, not by us.

First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies are set by dwellhue.com itself and handle basic site function. Third-party cookies are set by services we use — principally analytics and affiliate programs — when their code runs on a page or when you click through to a partner site. We do not control third-party cookies, and their providers process the resulting data under their own privacy terms.

Managing and deleting cookies

You are in control. Every major browser lets you view stored cookies, delete them, block third-party cookies, or block all cookies for a specific site. The settings usually sit under Privacy, Security or Site settings — in Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge alike.

  • Block or clear cookies for dwellhue.com specifically, without affecting other sites.
  • Block third-party cookies globally, which disables analytics and affiliate attribution while leaving the site readable.
  • Browse in a private or incognito window, which discards cookies when the window is closed.
  • Use browser tracking protection or a content blocker, which will typically block analytics and affiliate cookies.

What happens if you block them

Every guide, comparison and measurement on this site remains fully readable with cookies blocked. Blocking affiliate cookies means a purchase you make won’t be credited to us, which costs the site a commission but costs you nothing. Blocking essential cookies may affect commenting or other interactive features.

Do Not Track and opt-out tools

There is no industry-wide standard for responding to browser “Do Not Track” signals, so this site does not currently respond to them differently. If you want to opt out of analytics measurement specifically, Google offers a browser add-on for Google Analytics, and most content blockers achieve the same result.

Changes to this policy

If the services this site uses change, this policy will be updated and the “last updated” date will change with it. For how the data collected through cookies is handled more broadly, see our Privacy Policy.
