Terms of Use

What you may do with the research published here, and what is off limits.

Last updated: August 6, 2026

This page covers acceptable use of dwellhue.com and its content. It sits alongside our Terms and Conditions, which govern the wider relationship between you and Dwell Hue.

Ownership of content

The original text, guides, comparisons, layouts, graphics, site design and code on dwellhue.com are owned by Dwell Hue or used with permission, and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Product names, model numbers, brand names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We refer to them for identification, commentary and comparison only, and their use here does not imply endorsement, affiliation or sponsorship by those owners.

What you may do

  • Read, browse and use the site for your own personal, non-commercial purposes.
  • Print or save a page for your own reference — for example, taking a measurement checklist to the shop.
  • Share a link to any page on this site, anywhere you like.
  • Quote a short extract for commentary, criticism or review, with clear attribution to Dwell Hue and a link to the original page.

Prohibited uses

Without our prior written permission, you may not:

  • Reproduce or republish our content. Copying articles, guides, comparison tables or substantial extracts onto another website, app, newsletter, video or printed publication is not permitted.
  • Use our content commercially. Reselling, licensing, syndicating or incorporating our material into a commercial product or service is not permitted.
  • Scrape or access the site by automated means. Crawlers, scrapers, bots, harvesters and bulk-download tools may not be used to extract content or data, including for the purpose of training or fine-tuning machine-learning models. Ordinary indexing by search engines that respect our robots directives is permitted.
  • Frame, mirror or misrepresent the site. Presenting our content as your own, or in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation that does not exist, is not permitted.
  • Interfere with the site. Attempting to gain unauthorised access, probing for vulnerabilities, introducing malicious code, or placing an unreasonable load on our infrastructure is not permitted.
  • Use the site unlawfully. Any use that breaches applicable law or infringes the rights of others is not permitted.

To request permission for a use not covered above, write to hello@dwellhue.com describing what you want to use and where.

Material you submit

If you send us a comment, correction, image or other material, you confirm that you own it or have the right to share it, and you grant Dwell Hue a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, reproduce and edit it in connection with the site. We may decline, edit or remove any submission at our discretion.

Copyright complaints (DMCA)

We respect the intellectual property of others and expect the same in return. If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice to hello@dwellhue.com including:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  2. The URL of the page on dwellhue.com where the material appears, specific enough for us to locate it.
  3. Your name, address, telephone number and email address.
  4. A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent or the law.
  5. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorised to act on the owner’s behalf.
  6. Your physical or electronic signature.

We investigate valid notices promptly and will remove or disable access to infringing material where appropriate. If you believe material was removed in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address.

Enforcement and changes

We may restrict or block access where we reasonably believe these terms have been breached, and we may pursue any remedy available to us in law. We may also revise this page as the site changes; the revised version applies once published here, and the “last updated” date will change.
